Job summary

CoreStaff is recruiting an experienced production worker/assembler for an on-site role in Laverton North, Australia. You will join the production area and support the assembly of truck axles on a day shift (7am-3pm).

Reporting to the production supervisor, you will fit brake shoes, secure bolts, and handle components with power tools and crane lifting. On-site safety checks and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate hand and power tools in a production setting.
• Experience in a production/assembly environment is preferred.
• Able to handle heavy lifting and comply with safety requirements.
• Some roles involve crane work and tightening fasteners with power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with assembling truck axles in the production area.
• Fit brake shoes and secure axle bolts.
• Fit drum to axle and lift components with a crane.
• Secure nuts with a rattle gun and tighten with a high torque gun.

Our client, located in Laverton North, is an Australian manufacturer of trailer and trailer axles. We are currently seeking an experienced production worker/ assemblers to work in their production area. The successful applicant would be required to work day shift (7am-3pm).

About The Job

Reporting to the production supervisor you will assist with the assembly of truck axles.

• Fitting brake shoes
• Securing axle bolts
• Fitting drum to axle
• Lifting components with crane
• Secure nuts with rattle gun
• Tighten nuts with high torque gun

About You

• Ability to complete a urine drug screen and police check
• Ability to complete heavy lifting
• Previous hand and power tool experience
• Experience working in a production/ assembly area
