Job summary

Sensient Technologies Corporation is seeking a motivated Production Operator to join our team in Melbourne. The role requires professionalism, a can-do attitude, and strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience as a Production Operator or process worker in Food, Beverage, or Pharmaceutical industries.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, sanitation and personal hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and maintain safe product practices.
• Follow site quality procedures.
• Pick raw materials and record product and batch information.
• Process/mix and pack orders per daily production schedule.
• Complete production paperwork and communicate delays to supervisor.
• Perform cleaning and daily housekeeping.

We are seeking a self‑motivated Production Operator. The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism with a can‑do attitude. Excellent communication skills are essential along with exceptional time management, mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.

As a key member of the Sensient team, you will be required to push boundaries and innovate onsite in the office, 5 days per week.

What you will do

• Safety is the #1 Priority – You will ensure safe work and safe product practices are maintained
• Understanding and following site quality procedures
• Picking raw materials and recording product and batch information
• Processing/mixing and packing off production orders according to the daily production schedule
• Completing production paperwork
• Communicating issues or delays with supervisor
• Cleaning and daily housekeeping

What you will bring

• Relevant experience as a Production Operator or process worker in the Food, Beverage, or Pharmaceutical industry.
• Knowledge in HACCP/GMP/ Sanitation/ Personal hygiene required.
