Job summary

Strategy One Human Resources is recruiting for a Process Worker for a leading packaging company in Queensland. You will read job orders, perform quality checks, pack and label products, and help prepare pallets for shipment.

The role suits mechanically minded individuals with strong work ethics and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Shifts run Monday to Friday 5:30am-1:30pm with occasional 7:00am-3:00pm; weekly pay at $32.83 per hour.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised.
• Experience in fast-paced work environment.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Reading job order instructions.
• Quality checks on the product to meet customer specifications.
• Packing completed products.
• Labelling finished products, including empty paint cans.
• Painting the inside of cans and wrapping finished pallets.
• Keeping the work area clean and tidy, free from contamination sources.
• Reporting any equipment damage or out-of-spec products to the Shift Supervisor.

Duties include but not limited:

• Reading job order instructions
• Ability to complete Quality checks on the product to ensure it meets the customer specifications and asjusting as required.
• Packing completed products
• Labelling finished products, including empty paint cans
• Painting the inside of cans over the welder mark and wrap finished product pallets
• Keeping the work are clean and tidy, free from any potential contamination sources.
• Reporting any equipment damage or out-of specification products to the Shift Supervisor
