Production Technician Level 3 - Mechanical - Erskine Park

Retail Ready Operations Australia (RROA) is the first Coles owned retail ready meat facility.

Based at Erskine Park, our site is highly automated, sophisticated and equipped to global best practice. We have a strong focus on team member safety, quality and continuous improvement whilst ensuring that customers' security of supply, quality, availability of product and value for money expectations are met.

Our facility is fully integrated into the Coles sourcing, production, and logistics and stores' network.

About the role

Get ready to make an exciting impact as you maintain and repair mechanical and electrical equipment. Your role will be instrumental in upholding best practices while prioritising a safe and healthy work environment.

We are looking for qualified Mechanical Fitters to join our onsite engineering team for the following shifts:

Nightshift Sunday – Thursday 10pm to 6:30am

Afternoon Shift Monay – Friday 2pm to 10:30pm

About you and your skills

• A recognised Trade Certificate, or Certificate III in Engineering-Mechanical Trade, or
• Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering Trade, or a Certificate III in Fabrication Trade is required
• Experience working in a large food production site
• Proven experience in fault finding, repairs and maintenance of equipment
• Demonstrable experience applying quality control techniques and inspections
• Embrace continuous learning and skill development while supporting your team members
• Strong communication skills with the ability to actively collaborate within your team and wider site
