Job summary

Trek is seeking a Production Technician (Bike Mechanic) to join our team in Australia. You’ll ensure every bike leaving the shop is safe, tuned, and ride-ready while gaining hands-on access to the latest Trek models.

In this role you’ll tackle complex repairs, lead by example in a fast-paced store environment, and help customers understand service options, timelines, and warranty considerations. A passion for cycling and precision craftsmanship is essential.

• Mechanically inclined with a passion for cycling.

• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• Willing to learn Trek University certifications.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair bikes efficiently with a focus on speed, accuracy, and quality.
• Perform bike builds and pre-assemblies according to Trek standards.
• Lead the service area with professionalism and high standards of organization and cleanliness.
• Deliver hospitality by helping customers understand service options and timelines.
• Maintain Trek University Guide Status through ongoing training and certification.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager and team to complete daily tasks and support shop operations.
• Ensure consistent communication and leadership within the service department.

As a Production Technician ,you’llplay a critical role in our store’s success—ensuring every bike that leaves the shop is safe, tuned, and ready to deliver an exceptional ride.You’llalso get hands-on with the newest Trek models before anyone else and build trust with customers who rely on your skills to keep their bikes in top shape.

This position is perfect for someone who’s mechanically inclined, values precision, and loves helping others. The team will count on you for complex repairs and high-level technical support.
