Job summary

Sharp and Carter’s Geelong facility is seeking a Production Team Leader to own frontline leadership across the site. You will maintain a strong floor presence, build relationships with operators and ensure labour coverage, food safety and operational requirements for day and night production.

The ideal candidate will lead a 10+ strong team, oversee rostering, and cooperate with other site functions to meet production targets and quality standards on all shifts.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership of production teams of 10+ employees.
• Experience in food, beverage or a comparable manufacturing environment.
• Sound working knowledge of food safety requirements.
• Experience managing rosters and labour requirements.
• SAP experience or exposure to comparable ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of production employees.
• Provide support and oversight across the night shift operation.
• Manage rostering and labour resourcing across day and night shifts.
• Maintain strong food safety and operational standards.
• Build engagement, accountability and stability within the production team.

About the role

This role will take ownership of frontline production leadership across the Geelong site. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a strong presence on the production floor, build effective relationships with operators and ensure labour coverage, food safety and operational requirements are consistently met across both day and night operations.
