Job summary

Sharp & Carter Geelong is seeking a Production Team Leader to oversee frontline production and ensure safe, efficient operations on day and night shifts. You will lead a dedicated team, manage rosters and ensure labour coverage while upholding food safety standards.

You will coach 10+ operators, maintain engagement and hands-on leadership on the floor, and utilise SAP for planning to support daily production requirements across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience leading production teams of 10+ employees.
• Strong frontline people leadership and team development capability.
• Experience in food, beverage or comparable manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of food safety requirements.
• Experience managing rosters and labour requirements.
• Hands-on, approachable leadership style with accountability.
• Flexibility to support night shift coverage when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of production employees.
• Provide support and oversight across the night shift operation.
• Manage rostering and labour resourcing across day and night shifts.
• Maintain strong food safety and operational standards.
• Build engagement, accountability and stability within the production team.
• Maintain a visible and hands-on leadership presence on the floor.
• Utilise SAP to support production and labour planning.
• Work closely with other site functions to support daily production requirements.
