Job summary

BHP is seeking Production Supervisors for Caval Ridge Mine in the Bowen Basin. You will lead and coach a team of operators on a 7/7 roster, delivering safe, high‑performing production outcomes while developing team capability and upholding our Charter values.

As a leader, you will focus on inclusion, engagement and continuous improvement, coordinating prestrip activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards across shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience leading, coaching or mentoring teams in operational environments.
• Experience in open cut mining, production or prestrip operations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

About The Role

We have opportunities for Production Supervisors to join the team at Caval Ridge Mine, one of BHP Mitsubishi Alliance's (BMA) leading operations in the Bowen Basin. Reporting to the Production Superintendent, you will lead and support a team of operators, creating a safe, inclusive and high-performing work environment while delivering production outcomes. Working a 7/7 roster, you'll have the opportunity to develop your leadership capability, influence site culture and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. As a leader, you'll play a key role in fostering team engagement, supporting workforce development and ensuring every individual feels empowered to contribute and perform at their best.

You are a safety and people-focused leader who enjoys developing others, building strong team cultures and delivering results safely. You bring operational mining experience and a collaborative leadership style that inspires trust and engagement.

To Be Successful, You Will Have

• Experience leading, coaching or mentoring teams within an operational environment.
• Experience in open cut mining, production or prestrip operations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A commitment to safety, inclusion and continuous improvement.
• The ability to make sound decisions and solve problems in a dynamic environment.
• A current Queensland Open Driver's Licence.
• S123 and G2 qualifications, or the ability to obtain them.
