Job summary

Tip Top Bakeries in Ermington, NSW, is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead a large frontline team in a fast-paced, high-volume food manufacturing environment, reporting to the Production Manager. You will drive operational performance, build team capability, champion a strong safety culture and identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste and maximise plant performance.

  • Lead and develop production teams to ensure safety, quality and productivity targets.

  • Drive continuous improvement to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Coach and develop team members and monitor performance.
  • Collaborate with maintenance to minimise downtime and optimise uptime.
  • Complete shift reporting and monitor production performance.

Location: Ermington, NSW, AU

At Tip Top, we're passionate about producing the products Australians know and love. We are currently seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our Chilled & Frozen Operations team at our Ermington site.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll lead a large frontline team in a fast-paced, high-volume food manufacturing environment, ensuring products are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with Quality, Reliability, Supply Chain and Site Leadership teams, you'll drive operational performance, build team capability, champion a strong safety culture and identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste and maximise plant performance.

Purpose of the Role
  • Leading and developing production teams to achieve safety, quality and productivity targets
  • Managing labour and production resources to meet daily production plans
  • Driving a strong food safety and quality culture across the site
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency
  • Managing performance, coaching and development conversations with team members
  • Working closely with maintenance and reliability teams to minimise downtime
  • Ensuring compliance with all safety, quality and operational standards
  • Monitoring production performance and completing shift reporting
About You

You are an experienced manufacturing leader who enjoys building capability, motivating teams and delivering operational results.

  • Previous experience in a Production Supervisor or Team Leader role within FMCG, food manufacturing or a similar production environment
  • Strong leadership and people management capability
  • Experience managing shift performance, labour utilisation and production targets
