Next Day Recruitment is seeking a Production Scheduler/Coordinator for a manufacturing and production business on Sydney's Northern Beaches. The role targets a well-organised administrator with 5+ years in scheduling or planning and offers growth as the company expands.

You'll join a team responsible for master production scheduling, job sequencing, and liaison with engineering. A 4.5-day work week, with 7:00 am – 3:00 pm hours, plus career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in administration, coordination, planning, or scheduling.
• Strong Excel skills; ERP/MRP experience is a bonus (training provided).
• Well-organised, clear communicator, highly adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the master production schedule to meet delivery dates.
• Sequence jobs based on machine, material, and labour availability.
• Re-sequence work quickly when supply delays or variations happen.
• Track long-lead parts and flag shortages before they stop the floor.
• Track key milestones for deliveries and attend weekly production meetings.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to keep production on track.
• Raise works orders, maintain shop paperwork, and book inspection/dispatch slots.
• Spend about 10% of time on the factory floor; 90% in the office.
