Job summary

Autex, a global leader in interior acoustic products, seeks a Production Scheduler for our Queensland operations at the Yatala site. You will develop and maintain production schedules, balance customer orders with capacity, and collaborate with production teams to meet deadlines.

Ideal candidates will have scheduling experience in manufacturing, strong ERP and scheduling software skills, and excellent communication to coordinate with stakeholders and managers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, internal demands and production capacity.
• Ensure production plans are achievable and communicate any discrepancies with Production Managers.
• Continuously track the progress of production orders and identify delays or deviations from the schedule and take corrective actions.
• Prioritise production orders based on customer priorities, deadlines and resources; communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with production teams, supervisors and managers to understand requirements and scheduled jobs.
• Address production-related concerns and communicate these to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of production schedules, resource allocation and production job cards.
• Close job cards in a timely fashion.

Autex is a global leader supplying a diverse range of interior acoustic products for walls and ceilings to markets all over the world. We manufacture and dispatch these products across Australia from our Victorian operations. We are made up of experienced individuals who operate in a supportive and close network.

To cater for growth within our Queensland operations, we're looking for a Production Scheduler to join our team, based at our Yatala site.

Your key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, internal demands and production capacity.

Ensure production plans are achievable and communicate any discrepancies with Production Managers.

Continuously track the progress of production orders and identify any delays or deviations from the schedule. Take corrective actions to address issues promptly.

Understand production orders and prioritise based on customer priorities, deadlines and product resources. Communicate changes in scheduling to all relevant stakeholders.

Collaborate with production teams, supervisors and managers to clearly understand production requirements and scheduled jobs.

Address any production-related concerns and communicate these to the relevant stakeholders.

Maintain accurate records of production schedules, resource allocation and production job cards.

Close job cards in a timely fashion.

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

Previous experience within a scheduling role within manufacturing or supply chain environment.

Proficiency in scheduling software and ERP systems.

Excellent communication skills and ability to quickly build rapport with people at all levels

Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high quality and focus on the details
