Job summary

Metso Corporation in Forrestfield, WA, is seeking a Production Support Officer to join the Fabrication and Assembly East Region. The role reports to the Production Support Manager and supports the production team with purchasing, expediting, and admin tasks.

Key duties include processing purchase orders, monitoring outstanding items, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining safety and quality paperwork, while offering flexible work options and a supportive, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP is highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.
• Administration, inventory and purchasing experience, preferably within the mining supply sector.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Processing purchase orders, negotiate vendor pricing in line with supply chain estimates and collecting vendor quality paperwork.
• Proactively monitoring outstanding supply items.
• Answering expediting requisitions to internal stakeholders.
• Following up on outstanding vendor invoices and ensure receipting is carried out.
• Identifying health and safety risk observations and reporting.
• General branch administration and reception duties.
• Ongoing support to the Production Team
