Job summary

Sandvik Group is seeking a Production Scheduler/Planner to coordinate workshop production schedules, manage WIP, and backlog, and source parts to support maintenance, repair and overhaul projects.

You will ensure on-time delivery, manage priorities, and drive continuous improvement within a heavy-vehicle/mining oriented workshop environment. Excellent planning, communication, and ERP/CMMS experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning, maintenance planning, workshop coordination, or scheduling.
• Strong understanding of workshop operations, WIP management, and resource planning.
• Experience with ERP, CMMS, or workshop management systems.
• Industry experience in heavy vehicles, mining, earthmoving, fleet maintenance, manufacturing, or industrial services is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage workshop production schedules and resource plans.
• Monitor and control Work-in-Progress (WIP) to ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage workshop backlog and prioritise work based on customer and operational requirements.
• Source and procure parts, materials, and external services to support production activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers to manage lead times and expedite critical parts.
• Provide regular progress updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Track labour utilisation, job milestones, and workshop performance.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare job variations, quotations, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) as required.
