Job summary

Porta is one of Australia’s leading manufacturers of building products, trusted by builders, joiners, suppliers and stockists nationwide. We seek production workers to support our production lines, gain understanding of our products and processes, and operate some of our new state-of-the-art machinery.

Day shifts run from 6.30am to 2.36pm, Monday to Friday. As part of the team you will contribute to safe, efficient production, be physically capable of manual tasks, and pursue a long-term career

Qualifications

• Previous experience in machine operation or working within a production/warehouse environment working with glass
• Experience in a packing role (an advantage)
• Looking for a long-term career opportunity
• Excellent attention to detail, quality and safety
• Physically fit to undertake manual and repetitive tasks
• Reliable and motivated to do your best every day

• Operate some of the state‑of‑the‑art machinery when required

• All roles may involve manual handling and shift work

• Have previous experience in machine operation or working within a production/warehouse environment working with glass

As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric, vision, drug and alcohol testing.
