Job summary

Job Connect is seeking Factory Production Machine Operators in Carole Park. The role focuses on blending/mixing production with control systems and forklifts, offering stable day or afternoon shifts and comprehensive safety training.

You will operate mixers and fill/bag equipment, manufacture quality batches, and collaborate with a skilled permanent team. This is a full-time fixed-term contract with a view to permanency, with competitive rates and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Any batch or mixing production experience in a factory – can be foods, pharma, building product, pulp or resins!
• Experience operating computerised machines to blend products (foods, liquids, powders, or chemicals).
• Forklift experience and license
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, such as lifting 20kg bags into hoppers
• Desire to work a stable Day or Afternoon shift roster (no rotating shifts)
• Willingness to train on Days for 4-6 weeks until fully competent

Responsibilities

• Operating Mixers, Fillers, Baggers using Control Systems and Operating Forklifts
• Manufacturing quality batches with a strong focus on safety
• Collaborating with an experienced team of permanent production staff
• Participating in hazard reduction and safety pre-starts

• Stable shifts 6am–2:30pm & 2pm-10:30pm shift Mon - Fri
• Comprehensive safety training and induction, with 4 to 6 weeks of training provided by expert trainers on Day Shift initially
