Goodman Fielder Limited is hiring Production/Machine Operators for its Liquid Grocery team at the Erskine Park site in NSW. Roles involve operating & setting machinery, performing vinegar processing steps, and ensuring quality and safety standards.

Training and support are provided, with full-time shifts including day and afternoon slots. You will join a high-performing team, contribute to efficient line operation, and help maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards.

• Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
• Food industry knowledge and GMP exposure is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Operate automatic, semi-automatic or single-purpose machines with minimal supervision.
• Perform process work in vinegar plant including filtration, pasteurization, and transfer between tanks using SCADA; handle valves and connections as needed.
• Load Bulk vinegar tankers and palletize products; complete SAP paperwork.
• Follow SOPs for the assigned workstation and maintain safety guidelines.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet customer specifications.
• Assist in general labouring, cleaning, and tidying of work area; support new employees as a buddy.
• Report machine faults to the team manager and assist with line operations.

This role will make a strong contribution to a high performing production team and team culture within the Erskine Park site. Reporting into a Team Manager, you will work as part of the production team to ensure that our products are processed and packaged in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner that meets quality and food safety standards.Available shift times: Full time positions2x Day shift: 6am - 2pm2x Afternoon shift: 2pm - 10pmPayrate: $39.41 per hour (Afternoon shift attrcats a 15% loading per hourAll training and support will be provided to the successful candidate.Key Deliverables/Responsibilities:*; Undertakes all relevant training on Company procedures and safety guidelines*; Repetition work on automatic, semi-automatic or single purpose machines or equipment*; Perform the process work in vinegar plant like filtration, pasteurization, transfer the vinegar from one tank to other using SCADA system and manually operate valves and change connections in key stations*; Perform basic transfer operation in SAP and do paperwork and load the Bulk vinegar tankers and fill the pallecons.*; Operating specific machinery with proficiency and minimal supervision.*; Following all SOPs for the assigned workstations*; Performs general duties and follows instructions as directed by Manager.*; Operates within all safety guidelines and recommendations as set by the Company.*; Performing quality checks and ensuring products meet customer specifications.*; Perform general labouring and cleaning duties, including but not limited to general product handling, labouring, and cleaning duties, tidying of work area, stacking crates, removing rubbish etc.*; Assist new employees by acting as a work buddy and support leaders and managers in delivering on-the-job training*; Collaborating with fellow team members to ensure smooth line operation.*; Performing basic machine fault finding and reporting any complex machine faults or issues to team manager*; Operation of mobile equipment including forklifts (where applicable)*; Maintains sanitation/hygiene standards of work area and has awareness of hygiene and importance of microbiological containment*; Monitoring line operation at a workstation for quality and consistency*; Demonstrates good housekeeping procedures and standards.About you:*; Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience highly desireable*; Food industry knowledge and exposure to GMP*; Excellent verbal and written communication skills*; Ability to work as part of a team*; Commitment to learning and developmentTo apply: Please click to apply on line
