Job summary

Mondelez International in Australia is seeking a Part-time Production Operator on a fixed-term basis to support our manufacturing line. The role operates on rotating Day/Afternoon/Night shifts and offers a base rate of $40.04 per hour after training.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety standards and procedures to maintain a safe environment
• Produce products according to specifications and quality standards
• Inspect finished products for quality conformance
• Set up, operate, monitor and adjust production machinery and equipment
• Perform basic machine troubleshooting and maintenance
• Utilise SAP and other online computer systems
• Apply lean tools (5Y, Kaizen, One Point Lessons) to reduce losses
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals and deadlines
• Report issues to Shift Leader or Manager

As a Production Operator, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing process, ensuring that our products are made in a safe environment, meet the highest standards of quality and contribute to the efficiency of our manufacturing process.

This role is part time (fixed term) on a rotating shift - Day/Afternoon/Night, with a base rate of $40.04 per hour following initial training.

Your key responsibilities include;

• Following safety standards and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Producing products according to specifications and Quality standards
• Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet Quality standards
• Setting up, operating, monitoring and adjusting production machinery and equipment
• Basic machine troubleshooting and maintenance
• Use of SAP and other online computer systems
• Active use of lean manufacturing tools including 5Y, Kaizen and One Point Lessons to reduce losses across the plant
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Collaborating with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
• Reporting any issues to the Shift Leader or Manager
