Job summary

Feramex Group Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking Production Operators for the afternoon shift to manufacture and prepare high-quality sheet metal products. This hands-on role offers training on specialised machinery and opportunities to grow.

You will learn to operate various machines, support packing and dispatch, and work as part of a supportive team to meet daily production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read and follow production orders to meet daily schedules.
• Set up and operate sheet-metal machinery to manufacture products to specification.
• Check finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Safely handle, pack and prepare finished products for storage and dispatch.
• Keep work areas clean, safe and organised.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

About Us

Feramexis a Melbourne-based sheet metal manufacturer supplying roofing and architectural cladding products to the construction industry across Victoria. About the Role

As a Production Operator, you will be part of our team manufacturing and preparing high-quality sheet metal products for our customers.

This is a hands-on role where you will learn to operate a range of specialised machinery, work with different products and develop practical manufacturing skills.

There is plenty to learn and master, with opportunities to take on greater responsibility as your skills and experience develop. The role will also involve assisting with packing, dispatch preparation and loading trucks for delivery.

You will work as part of a team to meet daily production targets whilemaintaininghigh standardsof quality and safety.

• Current forklift licence

Highly Regarded

• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience
• Experience loading trucks or handling long-length building products
• Experience working with sheet metal or similar products
• MR or HR truck licence

Previousmanufacturing experience is not essential. Full training will be provided to suitable candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
