Job summary

Hi-Tec Oils is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Operator to support day-to-day production, blending, and packing tasks. The role involves operating and monitoring production equipment, following SOPs, and maintaining a tidy, safe workspace to meet daily schedules.

Will require physical fitness and the LF forklift licence with high reach and counterbalance experience. A background in busy warehouse environments is preferred, with attention to detail and safety consciousness across all tasks.

We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Operator to join our production team. This role supports day-to-day manufacturing and packing activities across blending, production, and materials handling.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations

Assist with manufacturing and production activities in line with production schedules.

Operate and monitor production and packing equipment as required.

Operate packing machines to measure, handle, and transfer materials safely and accurately.

Safety, WHS & Compliance

Follow all WHS procedures, SOPs, and PPE requirements at all times.

Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area.

Identify and report hazards, incidents, and near misses promptly.

Comply with chemical handling, spill response, and environmental procedures.

Assist with equipment cleaning, setup, and basic maintenance.

Operate forklifts and other plant equipment where licensed and trained.

Quality & Documentation

Complete basic production records, batch documentation, and checklists accurately.

Skills & Experience

Experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.

Ability to follow procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.

Physically capable of manual handling and working in a production environment.

Reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn new processes.

LF Forklift licence with high reach and counterbalance experience.

Experience working in a busy warehouse or distribution environment.

Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual handling and lifting.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Ability to work safely while following company procedures and WHS requirements.
