Job summary

Grifols Australia is seeking a Production Operator to drive daily manufacturing and ensure the delivery of high-quality IVD products. You will manufacture reagents, solutions and gel cards, operate purpose-built equipment, and log movements in SAP R3.

You will perform in-process QC tests, collect samples, and uphold ISO 13485, GMP, and our SOPs while collaborating with teams to optimize processes and align with Grifols global standards.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to work with laboratory equipment and ERPs.
• Experience with GMP/ISO 13485 or equivalent quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture high-quality IVD products following approved processes.
• Operate equipment and log raw material movements in SAP R3.
• Perform in-process QC tests and collect environmental, bioburden, and serological samples.
• Uphold GMP, ISO 13485 and Grifols SOPs to keep the facility compliant.

Role Mission

Drive manufacturing excellence at Grifols Australia by executing daily production plans and ensuring the delivery of life-saving, highest-quality IVD medical products to our global patients.

What your responsibilities will be

You will manufacture high-quality IVD products (Reagent Red Cells, Solutions, and Gel Cards) following approved testing, small/large-scale formulation, and filtration processes.

You will operate purpose-built equipment to dispense and pack finished goods while accurately logging all raw material and semi-finished product movements in SAP R3.

You will conduct in-process quality control tests and collect environmental, bioburden, and serological QC samples using laboratory measuring equipment.

You will uphold strict ISO 13485, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Grifols Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to keep our facility pristine and compliant.

You will collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and senior management to optimize manufacturing processes, spearhead continuous improvement initiatives, and align with Diagnostic Grifols global standards.

Qualifications: Proven ability to work under strict safety guidelines (OH&S) and compliance frameworks (GMP/ISO 13485) within a regulated manufacturing environment. Familiarity with SAP R3 or similar systems is highly valued.

Education: Background or certification in manufacturing, laboratory operations, life sciences, engineering, or a related industrial discipline.

Early shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Middle shift: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Night shift: 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM (midnight)
