Job summary

Redox is expanding its production team at the Wetherill Park facility. This full-time role involves picking raw materials, blending chemicals, and pumping into bulk trucks, with a forklift to move loads. Shift is Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:06pm, reporting to the Production Manager.

We value safety, attention to detail, and reliable teamwork. Applicants must be able to lift 25kg, have experience with chemicals, hold a forklift LF licence (HR licence favourable), and provide two references.

Qualifications

• Experience with chemicals/flammables in an industrial environment.
• Current Australian forklift licence (LF).
• HR licence will be viewed favourably.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to lift 25 kg and maintain safe operations.

Responsibilities

• Pick raw materials to make batches of liquid chemicals.
• Mix chemical blends to specified concentrations.
• Pump chemicals into bulk-tanker trucks and packages (5–1,000 L).
• Operate a forklift to move materials and load/unload.
• Maintain a clean production area and manage hazards.

The Role

Redox is looking to grow the production team at our Wetherill Park facility – a specialist in solvent distribution and speciality chemical solutions. Tyre shine, disinfectants, nail polish remover and various types of paints and coatings are just a few of the consumer goods our raw chemicals help make.

The Position

• Full time permanent position.
• Monday to Friday 6am – 2:06pm.
• Reporting to the Production Manager.
• Picking of raw materials to make batches of custom liquid chemicals (Class 3 Flammables).
• Mixing chemical blends to varying concentrations as per specifications.
• Pumping of chemicals into bulk-tanker trucks and packages ranging from 5 litres to 1,000 litres.
• Operating a forklift to pick materials and load/unload trucks and containers.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy production area and ensuring the site is kept clear of hazards.

About you

• Previous experience working with chemicals/flammable liquids in an industrial environment
• Hold a current Australian forklift licence (LF)
• Applicants holding a current Heavy Rigid (HR) licence will be reviewed favourably
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail as paperwork is involved in this position
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual heavy lifting (25kg)
• A commitment to ensuring safe operations and procedures are adhered to at all times
