Job summary

Tassal Operations seeks an experienced Production Manager to lead prawn processing teams at Proserpine & Mission Beach facilities, driving safe, efficient operations and a high-performing culture.

You will oversee day-to-day site performance across safety, quality, production and people outcomes, champion continuous improvement and help build workforce capability with a clear pathway to broader operational management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years management experience in FMCG manufacturing or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality and production performance drivers.
• Proven ability to coach, mentor and develop teams.
• Continuous improvement mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our prawn processing teams at our Proserpine & Mission Beach facilities. This is a critical leadership role with significant autonomy, responsible for driving safe, efficient operations while developing a high-performing team culture.

You will oversee day-to-day site performance across safety, quality, production and people outcomes, champion continuous improvement, and play a key role in building workforce capability. This role offers a genuine pathway to broader operational management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop processing operators and team leaders to achieve production targets.
• Oversee two production sites, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Coach and train team members to build capability and high performance.
• Troubleshoot issues and maintain efficient workflow.

About You
