Job summary

Rossosapore Pty Ltd T/A La Stella Latticini is seeking a hands-on Production Manager to run daily cheese production operations, meet targets, and align with schedules and customer requirements. You will supervise production staff, monitor yields and downtime, and drive safety, quality, and traceability.

You will coordinate equipment maintenance, investigate issues, implement corrective actions, and support audits and continuous improvement across the site.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily production operations to meet targets and schedules
• Oversee daily cheese production and participate in hands-on cheesemaking
• Ensure product quality, food safety, hygiene and HACCP compliance
• Supervise and lead production staff, team leaders and shift supervisors
• Monitor yields, wastage, labour costs and downtime to improve efficiency
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and operational improvements
• Support audits, inspections and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain production records and traceability
