Job summary

Classic Meats in Malaga (Perth) is recruiting a full-time Production Manager to oversee day-to-day production, lead a team and drive productivity in a fast-paced meat production facility. You will collaborate with QA, Maintenance, Distribution and Safety to meet targets while upholding food safety and WHS standards.

The role suits an adaptable leader with hands-on experience in high-volume meat processing, strong cost-control knowledge, and a passion for building a safe, high-performance team

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
• Strong knowledge of red meat processing.
• Solid understanding of costings, yields, weights and product flow.
• Sound knowledge of stock control procedures.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and adaptable professional to join our team as a full-time Production Manager at our busy meat production facility in Malaga.

The Position

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Production Manager will take full responsibility for overseeing day-to-day production operations and leading a team of employees. This role is critical in driving productivity, managing labour effectively, and ensuring a safe, efficient, and compliant workplace.

You will work closely with key functions including Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Distribution and Safety, and will be accountable for meeting production targets, maintaining compliance with food safety and WHS standards, and fostering a positive, high-performance team culture.

This is a hands-on leadership role, ideally suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in the same or similar role essential
• Strong knowledge of red meat processing
