Job summary

Dynamic Staffing Solutions in Newcastle is seeking a Production Manager to own day-to-day production, coordinate the factory and lead a team of 30 staff in aluminium windows/doors manufacturing. You will drive efficiency, safety, and on-time delivery while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

You will oversee Lean processes, establish robust production controls, and mentor staff to excel in a fast-paced factory environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience supervising 20+ staff in a factory.
• Knowledge of compliance, safety regulations and quality management systems.
• LEAN manufacturing exposure is ideal but not essential.
• Attention to detail with strong process discipline and outcomes focus.
• Experience coaching and leading in windows/doors manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Train, lead, and mentor a team of 30 people within a manufacturing environment.
• Maintain appropriate stock and inventory levels of all production materials.
• Understand health & safety, quality assurance and production requirements.
• Implement and streamline manufacturing processes, procedures, and systems.
• Communicate with internal members daily to achieve required outcomes.
• Produce quality products to ensure full support from sales, office to production.

About Us

Located in Cardiff this manufacturer of windows and doors is currently looking for a Production Manager, who can take ownership of the day-to-day production requirements to coordinate the factory.

You will have the opportunity to be involved in a range of manufactured in-house designed aluminium window and doors products for the residential and commercial building industry.

Reporting to the Branch Manager this role requires you to lead a team of Factory staff to ensure that all deadlines and production expectations are met with the drive to make the factory and the employees excel in their areas.

Job Details

• Monday to Friday hours between 6am – 4pm (40-hour week)
• Salary of $120k + super + car
• Management of 30 people in the factory

Experience & Qualification

You will have clear and concise communication skills, attention to detail with the ability to work to tight deadlines and highly regarded that you’ll come from the industry sectors of manufacturing or engineering aluminium products.
