Job summary

Wholesale Food Group on the Gold Coast is seeking a production preparation team member to join our busy factory. You will prepare, mix and produce large quantities of products for packing while following production and WHS procedures to maintain safety and quality.

In a small, fast-paced team, you will also handle basic warehousing tasks, assist with daily cleaning, document production processes and manage ingredient stock, reporting needs to team leaders.

Qualifications

• Physically fit for manual, repetitive tasks and lifting up to 25 kg.
• Reliable with own transport.
• Experience in factory warehousing/food handling (desirable).
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative team player with a can-do attitude.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices (desirable).
• Ability to read and follow specific recipes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, and produce large quantities of products for packing.
• Follow production and WHS procedures to ensure safety and quality.
• Maintain a high standard of food safety.
• Perform basic warehousing tasks such as locating/moving stock with pallet jacks.
• Assist with daily cleaning to keep a clean and safe workplace.
• Assist production/packing of goods as needed.
• Complete documentation in line with internal policies and food safety requirements.
• Manage ingredient stock and report requirements to team leaders.

Their Gold Coast, Queensland location has been a hub for high-quality food manufacturing services and gourmet products.

We are currently seeking a production preparation team member to join our busy, fast paced factory.

Working in a small fast-paced team, this role will include duties such as:

Prepare, mix, and produce large quantities of products for packing.

Following production and WHS procedures.

Maintaining a high standard level of food safety.

Basic warehousing duties such as locating/moving stock via pallet jacks.

Assist other team members in daily cleaning duties to ensure a clean and safe workplace.

Assist other team members in the production/packing of goods.

Complete documentation in accordance with internal policies, procedures, and food safety requirements.

Manage ingredient stock to maintain expected quality standards, stock levels and report any requirements to team leaders.

What we are looking for:
