Job summary

Hyne Timber is seeking a Production Fitter to join our rotating day/afternoon shift. You will provide trade-level mechanical support to keep the production line running safely and reliably, diagnosing faults and performing repairs as needed.

Working with the Maintenance team and Operator Maintainers, you will contribute to continuous improvement and Lean initiatives while helping minimise downtime and improve plant reliability.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified Fitter with experience in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Strong fault-finding skills and ability to diagnose complex equipment issues.
• Experience delivering planned and reactive mechanical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Work hands-on across the production line on a rotating day/afternoon shift.
• Provide trade-level mechanical support to diagnose faults and restore production.
• Complete planned and preventative maintenance activities to minimise downtime.
