Allpress Espresso Ltd. is seeking a Production & Distribution Assistant for our Melbourne roastery in Reservoir. You’ll work across production, packing and distribution, preparing orders, moving stock and supporting roasting operations.

You’ll bring warehousing/packaging experience, a detail‑oriented mindset and comfort with Excel. Safety‑conscious and collaborative, you’ll lift up to 18 kg and handle heavier green coffee sacks with proper equipment.

Qualificações

• Experience in warehousing or packaging line operations.
• Attention to detail and pride in accuracy.
• Able to use basic computer programs, incl. Excel or similar spreadsheets.
• Positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to pitch in.
• Able to lift/move up to 18 kg safely.
• Able to handle 60–70 kg green coffee sacks with appropriate equipment.
• Strong focus on safety and looking out for teammates.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and pack finished products for customer deliveries.
• Assist on the packaging line, boxing bagged coffee for shipping.
• Check inbound deliveries, record stock movements and report discrepancies.
• Assist loading green coffee into the roasting process with proper equipment.
• Keep the roastery tidy, organised and running smoothly.
• Follow health, safety and manual handling procedures at all times.
• Support the team as needed as roastery operations vary day by day.

About your new role

We’re looking for a Production & Distribution Assistant to join our Melbourne roastery team based in Reservoir, helping keep things running smoothly behind the scenes and our coffee making its way to customers across Australia.

Working across production, packing and distribution, you’ll be right in the middle of the action, preparing customer orders, keeping stock moving and lending a hand with the roasting process. It’s a hands‑on role for someone who likes being on their feet, working alongside a great team and taking pride in getting things done well.

A day in the life

• Prepare and pack finished products ready to make their way to our customers
• Keep things moving on the packaging line, packing bagged coffee into boxes
• Check inbound deliveries and accurately count, record and report stock movements
• Lend a hand loading green coffee into the roasting process, including handling sacks and bulk bags
• Help keep the roastery tidy, organised and running smoothly
• Follow health, safety and manual handling procedures to keep yourself and the team safe
• Pitch in with the team wherever needed because no two days in the roastery are exactly the same

About you

If you’ve spent some time in warehousing, production or packaging, even better. An interest in specialty coffee definitely helps too. You’ll be someone who:

• Has experience in warehousing and/or packaging line operations
• Has a good eye for detail and takes pride in getting things right
• Is comfortable using basic computer programs, including Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheets
• Brings a positive, collaborative attitude and is always happy to pitch in
• Is able to safely lift and move loads of up to 18kg
• Is comfortable safely handling 60–70kg green coffee sacks using the appropriate equipment
• Has a strong focus on safety and looks out for the people around them

A valid driver’s licence and reliable transport are preferred, and a forklift licence and/or reach forklift experience is a bonus.
