Job summary

NAB is seeking a Product Owner, Customer Risk Assessment, to own the product roadmap, backlog, and delivery outcomes for Customer Risk Assessment capabilities.

You will partner with Financial Crime, Risk, Operations, Data and Engineering to deliver well-governed solutions; translate risk methodologies into features; define acceptance criteria; ensure testing and release readiness; and report on progress and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience translating regulatory, risk and operational requirements into product features.
• Ability to translate complex regulatory and risk needs for business, risk, data and technology teams.
• Strong knowledge of AML/CTF and customer due diligence expectations.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap, prioritised backlog and delivery outcomes for Customer Risk Assessment capabilities.
• Partner across Financial Crime, Risk, Operations, Data and Engineering to deliver well-governed solutions.
• Make informed product decisions balancing regulatory commitments, customer impact and technical sustainability.
• Translate approved methodologies into features, user stories, acceptance criteria and measurable outcomes.
• Define acceptance criteria, assess completed work and support controlled release and adoption.
• Ensure testing across risk scenarios, data behaviour, decision traceability and edge cases.
• Maintain reporting on delivery progress, product health, dependencies, risks and outcomes.
