What are we looking for?

ORDE is embarking on our AI journey to transform how we work, lend and invest in technology. We are seeking a strategic and delivery-focused Product Owner to initially lead a 12-month multi-stream program focused on implementing the foundational adoption of Microsoft Co-pilot and other AI tools across ORDE. This includes security, change and adoption, and enablement structures that will allow departments to experiment with AI tools, identify promising use cases, and leverage them for broader use across ORDE. The second phase of the role is to work with AI champions in each department to develop promising AI experiments into capabilities working with developers, partners and subject matter experts to build targeted AI use cases to transform our business.

You will work closely with the Head of Product, Change and Security leads, and cross-functional teams to shape and deliver the AI enablement roadmap. This is a unique opportunity to influence how AI is adopted across ORDE and to build the foundations for long-term capability.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Lead the design and delivery of a multi-stream AI enablement program, including security, change and adoption, and capability uplift.
• Build, train and maintain AI tools and models to support strategic business processes using variety of AI capabilities from generative AI, agentic workflows and chat bots to machine learning insight models
• Define and prioritise product backlogs aligned to strategic AI goals and departmental needs.
• Develop and maintain a roadmap for AI enablement, including delivery milestones and long-term capability goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, assess, and prioritise AI use cases for experimentation and hardening.
• Apply risk management frameworks to ensure AI tools and processes meet organisational standards.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure delivery squads are aligned and delivering value.
• Lead cross-functional teams to gather requirements, validate solutions, and support adoption.
• Measure success through adoption metrics, feedback loops, and continuous improvement.
• Coach and mentor junior product owners, AI champions and end users and contribute to the growth of the product owner and AI community at ORDE.

About you:

• 5+ years of experience in product ownership or program delivery roles, ideally in digital or AI-related domains.
• Technical experience in designing, developing and training AI and machine learning tools and agents
• Proven experience leading complex, multi-stream programs with cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and change management practices.
• Experience with AI tools, data governance, or digital enablement frameworks is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Passion for innovation, experimentation, and building scalable frameworks.
• Preferred experience with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Azure AI Foundry & AWS Sagemaker/Bedrock.
• Familiar with using Agile and project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence and Lucid Chart/Spark
• Ability to deal with and navigate ambiguity in an often-changing environment
