Job summary

Talent International is seeking an experienced Product Owner to support delivery of complex ICT initiatives in Sydney.

Responsibilities include owning the end-to-end product lifecycle, defining vision and strategy, developing roadmaps, prioritising backlog and delivering outcomes in collaboration with stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams. Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in large ICT environments.
• End-to-end product lifecycle management in Agile settings.
• Strong capability in strategy, roadmaps and backlog prioritisation.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary delivery teams and engage stakeholders.
• Experience developing business cases and reports for senior management.
• Relevant Product Owner qualifications or demonstrated experience.

Product Owner | Contract until June 2027

Contract: Until 30 June 2027

Talent International is partnering with a large organisation seeking an experienced Product Owner to support the delivery of complex ICT initiatives.

This role will take ownership of the end-to-end product lifecycle, from defining product vision and strategy through to roadmap development, backlog prioritisation and delivery.

Working closely with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams, you will ensure product outcomes align with business priorities, customer needs and organisational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the product vision, strategy and roadmap.

• Own and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder requirements.

• Lead product planning, backlog refinement and prioritisation activities within an Agile delivery environment.

• Work closely with stakeholders, customers and delivery teams to define requirements and validate outcomes.

• Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality products.

• Facilitate scoping and business priority discussions for complex ICT initiatives.

• Ensure product delivery aligns with governance requirements, agreed benefits and strategic outcomes.

• Support product financial management, reporting and business case development.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Extensive experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager within a large, complex ICT environment.

• Demonstrated experience managing the end-to-end product lifecycle in an Agile environment.

• Strong capability in product strategy, roadmap development and backlog management.

• Experience leading or working closely with multidisciplinary delivery teams.

• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

• Strong analytical, prioritisation and problem-solving skills.

• Experience developing business cases, reports and recommendations for senior management.

• Relevant Product Owner qualifications or certifications, or equivalent demonstrated professional experience.

Additional requirements

• Applicants must meet the organisation's work eligibility requirements.

• Baseline National Security Clearance is required, along with the ability to obtain NV1 clearance.
