Job summary

Allied Credit in Sydney is seeking a Product Operations Specialist to manage ongoing product processes, support new features and drive efficient execution through planning, analysis and testing. You will work closely with Product Managers to ensure designs meet business objectives and comply with relevant rules.

The ideal candidate has a finance or commerce background, strong analytical and change-management skills, and experience with Excel and UAT.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance or Commerce are beneficial.
• Solid foundational experience in financial services or banking with exposure to product management.
• Attention to detail, curiosity and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience performing UAT would be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing maintenance of product statements, pricing, features and training materials.

We are seeking a Product Operations Specialist who will play a key role in ongoing operational management of our Products and support new features and implementations, ensuring efficient and effective execution through process optimisation, planning, analysis and testing.

What you will be doing

• Supporting ongoing maintenance of all product statements, documents, pricing, features, website content, reviews and training materials.
• Working closely with Product Managers to ensure product and process designs align to business objectives and comply with relevant legal, regulatory and tax requirements.
• Suggesting and implementing refinements to operational processes and by conducting as-is and to-be process mapping to identify gaps which ensure best practices are maintained.
• Gathering, analysing and reporting on product data to inform decision-making and track progress.
• Facilitating communication between Product and business stakeholders, Technology and other relevant teams related to operational and feature changes.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including digital agencies, tech developers and automotive OEMs to deliver cutting-edge digital solutions.
• Supporting change management activities, ensuring smooth adoption across teams.
• Support system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by developing test cases and ensuring requirements are met.
• Conducting user research and market analysis to support informed product development.

Your background

• Tertiary qualifications applicable to Business, Finance or Commerce would be beneficial.
• Solid foundational experience in financial services or banking, with at least some exposure to product management practices.
• Critical thinking, a fanatical attention to detail and an inherent curiosity are key skills/ attributes required for this role.
• Possessing intermediate skills in Excel and experience performing UAT would be highly regarded.
• Adaptability and resilience to work in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment. Energy, enthusiasm and drive are non-negotiables!
• Be able to work collaboratively and effectively manage, communicate with and influence multiple stakeholders.
