Job summary

ASSA ABLOY is seeking a Product Manager to shape the strategy and performance of a smart, connected product portfolio across Australia. You’ll combine customer insights, market intelligence and technology awareness to drive portfolio growth, influence product strategy and bring innovative solutions to market, working with engineering, sales, marketing, operations, and digital teams.

Based onsite in Melbourne, you’ll link customer needs to business objectives and guide decisions from concept

Qualifications

• Experience in product management, portfolio management or related commercial product leadership.
• Ability to translate customer and market insights into prioritised product requirements and business cases.
• Experience with products involving software, cloud services or digital ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain portfolio strategies and roadmaps aligned to business objectives.
• Lead portfolio performance reviews to identify growth, investment and optimisation opportunities.
• Conduct market research and gather customer insights to inform product decisions.
• Translate customer problems, market trends and priorities into clear requirements and business cases.
• Drive new product initiatives from proposal through launch and post-launch review.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver product outcomes and launch readiness.
• Monitor emerging technologies and regulatory developments to maintain relevance.
• Manage product lifecycle decisions including investment, remediation and end-of-life planning.
