SKA Observatory seeks a seasoned Product Manager to lead the SKA-Low telescope delivery. You will connect user needs, engineering work, and programme commitments, framing problems and defining success criteria.

You will work across engineers, architects, operations and leadership to frame problems, set priorities and communicate progress. The role emphasizes evidence-based decision making, milestone-driven delivery, and collaboration across time zones with the programme leadership.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in Product Management, or an equivalent product-oriented leadership role.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong ability to frame problems and define success criteria to guide delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day product leadership for the SKA-Low telescope construction programme.
• Define goals, translate them into priorities and create a clear roadmap.
• Own the high-level backlog and prioritise across stakeholders and constraints.
• Ensure decisions are evidence-based using testing, integration and feedback.
• Coordinate across distributed teams and programme leadership to align on milestones.
