Job summary

Aware Super is seeking a Product Owner/Manager to lead the Enterprise Knowledge Base strategy, roadmap, and adoption across the organisation. You will work with business and technology teams to deliver accurate, compliant knowledge at scale and shape how AI-assisted member and adviser experiences are delivered.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated product management and product ownership experience, including vision, roadmap and backlog.
  • Strong knowledge of Advice or superannuation domain and regulatory requirements in Australia.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Experience with AI, knowledge management or enterprise platforms.
  • Understanding of compliance, risk and security principles, including privacy and audit trails.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills to translate business needs into technical specs.
  • Experience driving adoption and change for internal transformation platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Own and communicate the vision and multi-quarter roadmap for the Enterprise Knowledge Base, aligned to Transformation and AI strategy.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging capability to keep Knowledge Base fit for purpose.
  • Translate Advice SMEs, Product Owners and delivery needs into clear requirements for Technology to build.
  • Act as the single point of accountability for Knowledge Base value, roadmap and adoption.
  • Make trade-off calls on what capabilities and content to build or onboard next, with clear rationale.
  • Oversee testing and quality assurance of Knowledge Base outputs and triage issues within SLAs.
  • Partner with Advice SMEs to validate content and alignment with regulatory guidance.

Your New Role

This is a unique opportunity to shape an enterprise capability that will directly influence how AI, advice and knowledge are delivered across Aware Super. In this role, you will work on the strategy, roadmap and adoption of Aware's Enterprise Knowledge Base, enabling AI-powered member, advice and enterprise experiences. Working across business and technology teams, you'll drive prioritisation, governance and continuous improvement to deliver accurate, compliant and reusable knowledge at scale.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Own and communicate the vision and multi-quarter roadmap for the Enterprise Knowledge Base, aligned to Aware's Transformation and AI strategy.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging capability, including AI and agentic capability, to keep the Knowledge Base fit for purpose.
  • Translate the needs of Advice SMEs, Product Owners and delivery teams into clear, prioritised requirements and acceptance criteria for Technology to build.
  • Actas the single point of accountability for the Knowledge Base's value, roadmapand adoption across the enterprise.
  • Make the trade-off calls on which capabilities and content are built or onboarded next, and clearly articulate why.
  • Oversee testing and quality assurance of Knowledge Base outputs, ensuring issues are triaged and resolved within agreed timeframes.
  • Partner with Advice SMEs to validate content and ensure alignment with current advice frameworks and regulatory guidance.
How do you exceed our expectations?
  • Demonstrated product management and product ownership experience, including owning a vision, roadmap, backlog and value metrics (OKRs) for a business-owned platform or capability.
  • Strong Advice or superannuation domain knowledge, including an understanding of General Advice boundaries and regulatory requirements within the Australian financial services context.
  • Proven ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across Transformation, Value Streams and Practices without direct authority.
  • Experience with AI, knowledge management, agentic AI or enterprise platforms.
  • Strong understanding of compliance, risk and security principles, including audit trails, privacy requirements and Responsible AI within regulated environments.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate business needs into build-ready requirements and technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Prior involvement in driving adoption and change for an internal transformation platform, including enablement and training materials.
