Job summary

AMP is seeking a Product Manager for Insurance to drive the Platforms insurance proposition with strong governance, analysis and stakeholder collaboration. The role focuses on ongoing development, lifecycle management and ensuring favourable member and adviser outcomes within a regulated financial services context.

You will coordinate with insurers and internal teams, support pricing and governance inputs, and manage policy changes and disclosures while aligning with business strategy.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5+ years' experience in product management, preferably in insurance, superannuation, wealth management, platforms or financial services.
  • Working knowledge of insurance product lifecycle management, including product design, pricing, re-rates, disclosure, governance, issue management and regulatory change.
  • Experience working with insurers, administrators or service providers, including coordination, issue resolution, performance monitoring and stakeholder updates.
  • Sound understanding of platform and/or superannuation insurance arrangements, including administration models, customer communications, claims considerations and operational risk.
  • Strong analytical, coordination and delivery skills, with the ability to manage priorities, actions, dependencies and escalations.
  • Experience preparing governance updates, product analysis, risk inputs, business papers or recommendations for stakeholders and product forums.
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, law, commerce, insurance, superannuation or a related discipline are desirable

  • Contribute to the ongoing development, simplification and maintenance of the Platforms insurance proposition.
  • Manage product lifecycle activities, including enhancements, disclosure updates, policy changes, market monitoring and governance inputs.
  • Support pricing, re-rate and product performance activity, including analysis, implementation support, competitor insights and recommendation inputs.
  • Support regulatory, legislative, risk and compliance change, including business readiness, issue management, remediation activity and reporting.
  • Coordinate with insurers, administrators and internal stakeholders to resolve issues, deliver agreed insurance outcomes, and prepare communications and governance updates

How you'll make an impact

The Product Manager - Insurance is expected to make an impact by supporting the effective management, governance and ongoing development of the Platforms insurance proposition. What you will bring to the team

Ideally, you will bring the following experiences to this role:
