We’re working with an innovative Cambridge-based technology company developing advanced AI and machine learning software that helps engineering teams make better design and performance decisions.
Due to continued growth, they’re looking for a hands-on Product Manager to join their Product team and play a key role in shaping both product strategy and day-to-day delivery.
This is a highly collaborative role working closely with Software Engineering, Machine Learning, UX and commercial teams, as well as customers.
You’ll translate customer needs and product strategy into clear, actionable requirements for technical teams, while owning the backlog, roadmap and prioritisation process.
You’ll be expected to get into the detail – writing requirements and tickets, working in Jira, supporting discovery and working closely with engineers and ML specialists to understand technical challenges and make informed product decisions.
An important part of the role is becoming a trusted, go-to Product person within the business, particularly for the technical teams. You’ll need to be someone colleagues can approach for clarity around priorities, requirements and product direction.
We’re looking for a Product Manager/Product Owner with experience in a technical B2B software environment and a strong track record of working closely with engineering teams.
You’ll ideally have:
Experience with machine learning, data science, optimisation or engineering software would be advantageous, although industry background is not essential. Experience working within a small-medium sized company is likely to be just as important.
We’re particularly interested in people who have demonstrated the ability to learn new technical domains quickly and who genuinely enjoy being close to the product and delivery detail.
