Position Responsibilities
- Is accountable for the operational delivery aspects of the solutions managed by the Enterprise Integration team. It owns and manages a select group of assets and practices, and it is expected that the person in this role will demonstrate high levels of accountability for the delivery of BAU operational services whilst managing internal and external stakeholders’ expectations.
- Take ownership for the key business as Usual (BAU) functions continue to run smoothly whilst delivering customer-focused incremental improvements and enhancements. This includes product support and management including up-to-date product roadmaps and key reporting across performance, capacity and SLAs.
- This position requires exceptional stakeholder management skills and liaise with other teams to ensure the team has necessary support.
- Resolve resource allocation bottlenecks to ensure a smooth workflow. Assist Tech Leads and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in work item sizing and estimation.
- Manage the pipeline of work (including re-sequencing and re-prioritising) coming into the team
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the backlog is effectively organized, prioritised, and bundled appropriately.
- People management duties include resource planning, hiring, uplifting capability, and overseeing Personal Development Plans for permanent staff (PDPs).
- Be responsible for the coordination of the Release & Deployment Management of products and applications managed by the Enterprise Integration team. Manage the incident and problem queues to resolution, ensuring robust and reliable IT systems
Position Requirements
Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience in design and development of solutions using integration platforms - APIM, Boomi, webMethods, Kong.
- Experience in RabbitMQ would be preferred. Knowledge of relational databases - Oracle and SQL Server.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of running and managing Agile teams and practices
- Proven skills in leading teams, in stakeholder engagement and management.
- Strong experience of and knowledge in incident, problem, capacity and change management (ITIL desirable) and ability to maintain technical documentation.
- Self-driven, inquisitive mindset with tenacity to solve problems and deliver outcomes. Ability to lead/mentor and cross-skill with team members
- Ability to negotiate, influence and educate at all levels of the organisation
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy. Strong logical, strategic and creative thinking ability
- Proven ability to work in a fast paced/time critical environment. Problem-solving, analysis, and interpretation of complex technical information.
Must be an Australian citizen with the ability to attain and maintain an appropriate level of national security clearance
Education/ professional Certifications
- Tertiary and/or post graduate qualifications in an appropriate discipline or equivalent experience.
- professional certifications in relevant technologies, or equivalent.
