Job summary

Peter Alexander in Melbourne is seeking a Product Coordinator to join the Womenswear team. This role develops your skills in design, product development and production, supporting the Product Manager throughout sampling, development and production processes to drive timely delivery from concept to shipment.

With 2–3 years in a related role and strong Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop skills, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced, detail-focused environment and contribute to a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in a Product Coordinator or Production Assistant role
• Fashion & Textile qualification advantageous
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Experience with 3 Clicks advantageous
• Proactive, motivated and thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Product Manager in the sampling approval process including fittings
• Managing and tracking the sample and production process from initial development to shipment stage
• Liaising daily with offshore suppliers and factories
• Providing feedback on print development and execution with Product Manager/Graphic Designers
• Giving feedback on development including fabric quality, lab dips and trims
• Briefing new ranges to suppliers for development
• Maintaining relationships and regular communication with suppliers
• Updating and maintaining range storyboards
• Coordinating samples for photo shoots and advertising
• Supporting the product team with administrative needs

ABOUT THE ROLE

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting the Product Manager in the sampling approval process including fittings

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 2-3 years’ experience in a Product Coordinator or Production Assistant role is preferable
• Qualification in Fashion and Textile is advantageous
• Skilled with Adobe, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop
• Experience working with 3 Clicks is advantageous
• Proactive, motivated and likes working in a fast pace environment
• Have great attention to detail and works well under pressure
• High level of productivity and efficiency
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Be a collaborative team member
