Job summary

Auto Parts Group (APG) in Brisbane is seeking a Product Development coordinator to join our automotive and commercial vehicle categories. Based in Brendale, QLD, you will support product range development, catalogue accuracy, pricing and supplier coordination, reporting to the Procurement and Pricing Manager.

Responsibilities

• Support product range development, catalogue maintenance and new product research across Automotive and Commercial Vehicle categories.
• Analyse sales, margin, pricing, competitor and market information to identify growth opportunities.
• Monitor product performance and assist with demand forecasting and pricing reviews.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to support product availability, supplier communication and supply requirements.
• Work with Sales and Marketing on category opportunities, promotions, and competitive pricing.
• Ensure product information and catalogue data are accurate and sourced from approved vendors.
• Champion APG Values and ensure compliance with policies and safety requirements.

About The Role:

APG is seeking a full-time permanent Product Development coordinator based out of Brendale, QLD. Reporting to the Procurement and Pricing Manager, the Product Development team supports product range development, catalogue accuracy, pricing, supplier coordination and category performance across APG categories.

This role works closely with Sales, Marketing, Purchasing and approved suppliers to identify product opportunities, monitor performance, maintain product information and support profitable range growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support product range development, catalogue maintenance and new product research across Automotive and Commercial Vehicle categories.
• Analyse sales, margin, pricing, competitor and market information to identify growth and improvement opportunities.
• Monitor product performance and assist with demand forecasting, pricing reviews and range action plans.
• Work closely with Purchasing to support product availability, supplier communication and ongoing supply requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams on category opportunities, promotional activity and competitive pricing.
• Ensure product information, descriptions and catalogue data are accurate, complete and sourced through approved vendors.
• Champion APG Values and support compliance with company policies, purchasing authorities and safety requirements.

About You:

• Experience in product coordination, catalogue management, category support, purchasing or a similar commercial role. (Auto parts experience desirable)
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales, pricing, margin and market data.
• High attention to detail and confidence managing product information, range data and systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with suppliers.
