Job summary

Premier Fresh Australia Pty Ltd is seeking motivated Produce Handlers (Pick Packers) with machine operation experience to join our Epping Operations team. This full-time role starts immediately and offers hands-on work in a fast-paced fresh produce environment.

Responsibilities include machine operation, order fulfilment, quality control, packing, and adherence to health and safety procedures. Suitable candidates are reliable, physically fit, and available for early shifts and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with machine operation is required.
• Flexible to work early morning shifts (6 am start).
• Ability to work weekends.
• Pick/pack experience is advantageous.
• Good interpersonal, communication, and basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Health, safety and wellbeing awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain warehouse machinery according to procedures.
• Prepare products for orders, including quality checks and packing.
• Label products accurately and manage Value-Added Batch (VAB) preparation.
• Follow Health, Safety and Food Safety processes as directed by the supervisor.
• Learn and operate required warehouse equipment.

Description:

We are seeking motivated and capable Produce Handlers (Pick Packers) with machine operation experience to join our Epping Operations team.

We currently have Full-Time positions available for an immediate start.

As a Produce Handler your key responsibilities will include.

• Machine Operation; proper usage of all machinery and equipment.
• Order Fulfilment; preparing product in accordance with appropriate procedures and customer specifications including quality control, grading, pre-packing, weighing, and assembling.
• Understand the specifications relating to labeling produce. The accurate and complete preparation and receipt of Value-Added Batch (VAB).
• Adhere to Health, Safety and Wellbeing, and Food Safety processes & procedures as instructed by the Supervisor.
• Competency to learn and operate the required warehouse machinery.

Skills and Experiences

• Previous experience with machine operation is required.
• Flexible to work early morning shifts (6 am start).
• Availability for weekend work.
• Previous pick/packing experience is highly regarded.
• Possesses and uses good interpersonal, communication skills and basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• General awareness, interest and understanding of health safety and wellbeing practices.

• Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling duties safely.
