Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies in Australia is seeking a department leadership role to drive sales and enhance the customer experience during primetime hours (3p-7p M-F; 11a-7p Sat/Sun). You will partner with store and department leaders to develop a high-performance culture and ensure associates receive training to deliver a great experience for Every Customer, Every Time.

• Promote trust and respect among associates; communicate information to associates
• Establish department performance goals and empower associates to meet targets
• Ensure orders are put up in a timely manner; backstock, rotate and replenish
• Train and develop associates; participate in performance appraisal
• Create welcoming environment; answer questions about products and assist customers
• Inform customers of produce specials and offer samples
• Maintain merchandising standards; inspect quality and freshness
• Create and execute sales promotions with store management
• Educate department on promotions and CAO processes
• Ensure in-stock behaviors and inventory processes are followed
• Ensure proper temperatures and log keeping in cases and coolers
• Enforce safety programs and report safety risks
• Adhere to laws and company guidelines
• Perform essential job functions with/without accommodations
