Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a procurement professional in Queensland to support safe, cost-effective purchasing for mining operations. You will manage requisitions, update orders, and reconcile invoices while liaising with internal teams and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.

Requires Certificate III/IV in Procurement or related field and 2+ years in purchasing or procurement, with SAP experience. The role reports to the Procurement Coordinator and suits candidates thriving in dynamic industrial

Qualifications

Certificate III/IV in Procurement or related field.
2+ years’ experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.

Responsibilities

Provide safe and cost-effective procurement support for a sustainable mining operation.
Maintain accurate procurement records within ERP systems such as SAP.
Liaise with internal stakeholders to clarify purchasing requirements and ensure timely delivery.
Convert purchase requisitions into orders.
Update purchase orders as needed.
Expedite overdue orders to avoid delays.
Reconcile invoices against orders and deliveries.
Liaise with suppliers to secure goods and services.
Support end users with procurement queries and issues.
Report to the Procurement Coordinator.
