Job summary

The City of Ryde is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to partner with stakeholders, deliver best practice procurement outcomes and drive continuous improvement across the Council. You will lead sourcing from planning to contract award, support procurement systems like TechnologyOne, TenderLink and VendorPanel, and build procurement capability across the organisation.

With a focus on value-for-money, probity and compliant processes, you will manage EOIs, RFQs and RFTs, develop guides

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in procurement, tendering, contract management or strategic sourcing.
• Experience managing tender and quotation processes from planning through to contract award.
• Strong knowledge of procurement principles, governance and probity requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice on procurement strategies and sourcing approaches.
• Manage Expressions of Interest (EOI), RFQ and RFT processes.
• Prepare procurement documentation and evaluation reports.
• Facilitate tender evaluations, negotiations and contract finalisation.
