Signet is seeking a procurement professional in Brisbane to join the Procurement Team. You will liaise with Australian and overseas suppliers and drive procurement processes that support revenue growth through cost optimisation and supplier collaboration.

You will manage COGS, vendor relationships, product ranges, and reporting using Excel and Power BI, while supporting customer tenders and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualificações

• 5+ years' experience in a procurement, purchasing or supply role.
• Experience in FMCG, distribution, retail or wholesale industry preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task with strong time management to meet deadlines.
• Sound knowledge of procurement and inventory control principles and practices.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite with ERP systems.

• Product and Market Range: Manage categories end-to-end through market analysis, pricing, sourcing, inventory optimisation and collaboration with product/commercial teams.
• Reporting and Analytics: Deliver data-driven insights using Excel and Power BI to support decisions and automation.
• Customer Tenders: Support tenders by coordinating requirements, sourcing, pricing and implementation with sales and supply partners.
• Continuous Improvement, Quality and Reporting: Contribute to process improvements and maintain procurement data integrity.

In this role, you will be responsible for communicating with external suppliers, both in Australia and overseas and be responsible for the management of Procurement and BTD processes which are both primary drivers of revenue growth for the Signet business.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost of Goods Sold (COGS): Drive cost optimisation by managing product spend, negotiating commercial terms, assessing market opportunities, and sourcing alternative suppliers aligned to strategic objectives.

Vendor Management: Build, manage and evaluate supplier relationships to ensure strong performance, contract compliance, risk mitigation and continuous COGS improvement.

Product and Market Range: Manage assigned categories end‑to‑end through market analysis, pricing, sourcing, inventory optimisation and collaboration with product and commercial teams to support growth.

Reporting and Analytics: Deliver data‑driven insights and reporting using Excel and Power BI to support procurement decisions, process automation and stakeholder requirements.

Customer Tenders: Support customer tenders by coordinating requirements, supplier sourcing, specifications, pricing and implementation with sales and supply partners.

Continuous Improvement, Quality and Reporting: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, maintain procurement data integrity, and support quality systems and regulatory compliance.

About You:

5 or more years' experience in a procurement, purchasing or supply role

Experience in a FMCG, distribution, retail or wholesale type industry preferred

A demonstrated ability to multi-task with strong time management skills to set and meet deadlines

Have a sound knowledge of procurement and inventory control principle and practices

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite with skills in an ERP system

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with a broad range of people
