Job summary

Calvary Health Care in Australia is seeking a Procurement Specialist – Non-Clinical to support the national procurement and supply chain function. You will assist with sourcing activities, contract administration and governance across indirect spend, working with Category Managers to drive value and compliance.

This permanent, full-time role offers hybrid/flexible work arrangements and the chance to contribute to spend analysis, supplier evaluations and category reporting while developing

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a procurement, supply chain, commercial or contract administration role – preferably in non-clinical categories.
• Demonstrated ability to support sourcing processes, prepare procurement documentation and manage competing priorities.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work under deadline pressure.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Commit to comply with the National Catholic Safeguarding Standards and Calvary policies and procedures related to creating a culture of safety and wellbeing for children and adults at risk.
• Support Category Managers in the preparation and execution of sourcing activities including RFQs, RFTs, market soundings and supplier evaluations.
• Prepare procurement documentation including specification templates, evaluation matrices, bid comparison summaries, recommendation reports and contract briefs.
• Manage lower-value and less complex sourcing activities end-to-end under the guidance of a Category Manager, in accordance with Calvary's procurement policy.
• Assist with contract administration including contract loading, variation tracking, expiry and renewal management, and supplier correspondence.
• Liaise with operational stakeholders across Calvary's sites to gather requirements, respond to procurement queries and support roll-out of new contracts.
• Maintain accurate and current data in Calvary's procurement and contract management systems.
• Contribute to spend analysis, savings tracking and category reporting as directed by the Category Manager.
