Link Airways invites applications for an AMO Procurement Manager, Canberra or Goulburn based, to lead aviation maintenance procurement and supplier relations. The role requires at least 2 years in aviation procurement, familiarity with inventory systems, and strong negotiation, budgeting and records-keeping capabilities.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years' experience in a senior aviation maintenance procurement role.
  • Course in procurement, logistics or supply chain management (highly desirable).
  • Knowledge of CASR Part 42/145 and aircraft maintenance regulations.
  • Experience using computerised aviation inventory systems (WinAir/AvTrak/CESCOM/CAMP).
  • Strong communication, time management and accuracy in records.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day purchasing to support scheduled and AOG maintenance.
  • Ensure procurement adheres to CASA requirements and internal policy.
  • Manage stock levels, track POs and deliveries to departments.
  • Develop supplier relationships and competitive pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with CAMO/AMO teams to streamline supply chain workflows.
  • Administer warranties and monitor expenditure against budgets.
  • Lead, train and develop AMO Stores personnel.

Procurement Manager - Aviation - Canberra based

Link Airways and Corporate Air provide airline and air charter services to customers in eastern and southern Australia.

We are currently seeking a suitably experienced AMO Procurement Manager to join our team, based at either our Canberra head office or Goulburn heavy maintenance facility.

As the AMO Procurement Manager you will be responsible for:
  • Ensuring that all procurement adheres to CASA requirements and Company internal policy.
  • Managing day-to-day purchasing activities to support scheduled and AOG aircraft maintenance requirements.
  • Actioning parts requisition, managing stock levels, tracking and reporting on the status of purchase orders and deliveries to relevant departments.
  • Identifying, evaluating, managing, and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
  • Staying informed on price changes, supply chain trends, and new suppliers in order to achieve competitive pricing and turnaround times.
  • Working together with Senior Management and the CAMO and AMO teams to ensure efficient supply chain workflows.
  • Administering supplier warranty programs and tracking expenditure against budgets.
  • Leading, training and developing AMO Stores personnel.
We are looking for:
  • At least 2 years' experience in a senior aviation maintenance procurement role.
  • Completed a course in procurement, logistics, supply chain management (highly desirable).
  • Knowledge of CASR Part 42/145 and other regulations applicable to the maintenance of aircraft.
  • Use of at least one computerised aviation inventory management system such as WinAir, AvTrak, CESCOM or CAMP.
  • Exceptional communication and time management skills, with the capacity to prioritise tasks and fulfil deadlines in a fast-paced work setting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the capacity to keep precise records, technical data, and certification paperwork.
  • Excellent negotiating and supplier management abilities, including familiarity with vendor agreements, warranties, and OEM and supplier programs.
  • A commercially focused mindset and financial reconciliation experience (warranties, purchase orders, invoices, and freight).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Office suite (e.g., Microsoft Word and Excel.)
  • Have the legal right to work in Australia on a full time and long-term basis.
  • Forklift license and Dangerous Goods certifications (highly desirable).?
  • Hold or be eligible to hold an ASIC card.
