Role

Who we're looking for: An experienced Procurement Manager to lead, own and manage the provision of procurement services, including the planning, development, sourcing, contracts, and risk management. This role will report to the Chief Strategy Officer and develop and implement strategies to support the needs of FleetPartners.

Responsibilities
  • Centralise the group approach to supplier management for direct spend
  • Leverage purchasing power to enhance pricing and rebate outcomes
  • Creating and implementing strategies (including implementation of a group wide procurement framework) to ensure cost-effective procurement and high-quality goods and service
  • Evaluating and selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts and maintaining strong relationships with vendors
  • Managing the entire procurement process from the initiation of purchase requests to the final receipt and approval of goods
  • Managing the purchasing budget and ensuring that procurement activities stay within financial constraints
  • Analysing market trends to forecast demand and mitigate risks
  • Ensuring all procurement activities comply with relevant laws and regulation
  • Working closely with internal departments to forecast needs and specifications
  • Monitoring and reporting on key performance metrics to improve procurement efficiency
  • Ensure third party supplier compliance with all policies, laws and obligations contained within contracts and the Supplier Governance Framework
  • Deliver Tender/ RFP documents as required
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in Procurement, Sourcing or Supply Chain
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in reading the market
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure favourable terms with suppliers
  • Proficiency in analysing data and making informed decisions
  • Ability to write and manage RFP's
  • Proven ability to create, promote and manage a Supplier Governance Framework
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and organisational needs
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, finance or a related field
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM)
