Job summary

Westpac Group is seeking a Procurement Commercial Associate to join the External Workforce Sourcing team in Sydney. You will partner with hiring managers, support external labour sourcing, negotiate commercial outcomes and ensure contracts meet business needs and risk requirements.

This full-time, hybrid role offers exposure to supplier management, data-driven decision making and opportunities to influence procurement processes across the Group.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting procurement, sourcing, supplier management or commercial activities.
• Familiarity with contracts and ability to review, negotiate and execute commercial agreements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to advise and influence a broad range of stakeholders.
• Commercial acumen, problem-solving capability and continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to work with data, reporting and business processes to support decision-making and external labour management.

What's the role?

Join Westpac's Group Procurement team and play an important role in helping our business connect with the external talent and specialist expertise it needs to succeed. As a Procurement Commercial Associate within our External Workforce Sourcing team, you'll partner with hiring managers across the Group, providing advice and support throughout the external labour sourcing process. You'll work closely with suppliers, negotiate commercial outcomes, ensure contracts are fit for purpose, and help deliver solutions that balance business needs, risk requirements and value.

This is a full-time, hybrid opportunity based in Sydney.

What do I need?

• Experience supporting procurement, sourcing, supplier management or commercial activities.
• Familiarity with contracts and the ability to support the review, negotiation and execution of commercial agreements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to advise and influence a broad range of stakeholders.
