Job summary

AngloGold Ashanti Limited is looking for an Operator Maintainer to join the Processing Operations team in Western Australia. You will be responsible for the efficient operation of the fines crushing plant while supporting maintenance activities.

The role includes working in a FIFO roster arrangement with direct flights provided from Perth. The ideal candidate will have experience in mining and a strong commitment to safety and production targets, with competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in mining or a similar processing environment, including previous experience operating mobile crushing equipment.
• Current Work at Heights and Confined Space Entry competencies.
• Crane, Forklift, EWP, or Dogging competencies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the fines crushing plant circuit safely and efficiently.
• Support maintenance activities across the fine crushing plant circuit.
• Monitor plant performance including conveyors, crushers, and screens.

Skills

Experience in a mining or similar processing environment

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Proactive approach to safety and continuous improvement

Education

Current WA Manual Driver’s Licence
